BIOFLOW– HORSES ANSWERS TO YOUR ‘NAGGING’ QUESTIONS.
Ecoflow plc. who originally developed
Bioflow in wristband form, were delighted to find that
horses benefited too! The boots come in horse and pony
sizes and will fit all but the largest of shires [to which
the leg-wraps will easily fit]. The magnets last a
lifetime, making them a good addition to the first aid
kit. These magnets are unique and mimic the pulses given
from electromagnetic machines used in hospitals and should
not to be confused with other products on the market.
The boots, designed with a brushing pad, can be worn for all
horse exercise and activities and for box rest. They are
lightweight and washable these can be replaced new for old
at any time for £32.50 + p&p.
What does Magnotherapy do?
The two special ‘Central Reverse Polarity’ magnets fitted in
each horse boot enable the molecules to change, thereby
increasing the oxygen level in the blood. This naturally
helps the body to flush out toxins and improves circulation,
aiding continuous pain relief, and improving the horse’s
‘whole’ well being.
What conditions have been treated beneficially in the past
by Bioflow magnets?
The ailments are varied and numerous and include all types
of lameness, wounds, recovery after surgery, laminitis,

How do they work?

Bioflow is worn over an artery to encourage the red blood
corpuscles to pick up extra oxygen, as it passes through the

How many magnets are there in the horse products?
Each rug has 40 magnets: a pair of wraps have 8 magnets: and
a pair of brushing boots have a total of 4 magnets.
How long does Bioflow take to work?
This varies from days to months, because all horses have
different metabolisms and react differently.
Are there any side effects?
No, but horses occasionally show the symptoms of worsening
before actually getting better. This is similar to the
detoxification that takes place in humans.
What products are available for horses?
Owners can choose from a magnetic rug in 5 sizes. Wraps with
touch and close fastenings for use on horses in box rest,
and brushing boots for use on horses and ponies in exercise.

How many magnets are there in each rug?
Each Bioflow rug has 40 magnetic modules. They are stitched
into secure pockets. There are 10 magnets on each of the
shoulders, and 10 magnets on each hind-quarter.
Why are there no magnets on the back?
It is considered that the main active and moving limbs are
adequate for treatment of the blood to reach all other areas
of the horse. Magnets worn close to or on a bony area could
cause abrasion and do more damage than good!
How will spinal areas benefit?
These areas will be treated in much the same way as with
wristbands on humans, treating all areas of the body. The
blood is treated as it passes under the magnet, then
circulates throughout the body to all areas. The horse will
be helped even if it is not obvious.
How long can the rug be worn for?
Recommended wearing time is up to 12 hours, but it may be
worn for longer if needed.
Should the rug be worn on its own?
It is designed to be worn on its own or under any existing
rug.
When would it be preferable to wear the rug rather than the
brushing boots or wraps?
The increased power of 40 magnets makes the rug more
effective in treating the entire horse’s body. At times of
greater stress, ailment or recovery, the rug will be doubly
effective.
If a horse had a bad reaction from wearing a pair of Bioflow
boots or wraps, should they carry on wearing them?
Yes, but only for part of the day, until the body gets
accustomed to it. They should be able to wear them for a
longer period each time.
If horses have a reaction, is that a good sign or does it
mean that the rug or boots are no good for them?
Actually, it is a very good sign and means that toxins are
being released, maybe a little quicker than the kidneys can
cope with – so do ensure adequate amounts of extra fresh
water and give Bioflow a rest for a day or two.
Do you think the wonderful results are all in the mind of
the owner?
No, animals destroy this myth! Horses cannot lie!
Can I do anything to help the detoxification process?
Yes, it is very important that the horse has an adequate
supply of fresh water to quench their thirst, to help the
kidneys deal with the toxins.
How are the Bioflow brushing boots worn?
The boots are worn like any other horse brushing boot.
How are the Brushing boots secured?
The Bioflow boot is attached using two strong touch and
close fastening straps.
How are the Horse Wraps secured?
The Bioflow Horse Wraps are fastened with two straps of
touch and close fastening.
Of what material are the wraps made?
They are made from lightweight breathable washable material.
What are the Brushing boots made from?
They are made from a lightweight neoprene washable material.
What prevents horses wearing the boots continually?
People and dogs wear the wristbands and collars continually.
Horses should not wear the boots continually on the same
legs for more than 12 hours due to health and hygiene!
Continuous wear, will result in skin rubs and chaffing, as
mud, dirt and grasses may cause irritation if left on for
too long.
How long can the boots be worn?
The boots can be worn continuously if they are swapped from
leg to leg!
How is this possible?
A horse has four legs. You have two boots, so swap the boots
from front to back, back to front, morning and evening.
Are there batteries inside the Bioflow?
No, Bioflow is only natural magnetism with a patented field
Central Reverse Polarity magnet.
Do horses suffer any discomfort when they start to wear the
rug or wraps?
Most unlikely, but if any discomfort is evident, just remove
for a day or so and try again.
What signs will I have that the Bioflows are working?
Your horse may urinate a little more frequently, due to the
increased thirst. This will settle down after a few days.
What other signs will be evident?
This will vary from horse to horse, as conditions vary
between animals. Most frequently, owners report an increase
in energy and vitality. They also show evidence of an
increased suppleness and freeness of movement.
Can any animal wear a Bioflow?
Yes. Cows, sheep, deer, elephants, foxes and several other
large animals have worn dog collars or horse products with
remarkable effects and improvements.
What is the best place to wear the Bioflow for pets?
It is designed to be worn either side of the neck over the
artery [carotid] as close to the skin as possible, firm but
not tight. On longhaired animals, pull the hair out over the
module or trim the hair; this will also help the module stay
in place.
Are magnets harmed by water?
No. In fact they have become wet in cross-country and been
used by hackers on the beach! After wear they can be washed
to freshen them up.
What horse is not advised to wear a Bioflow?
None! But do consult your vet if in any doubt.
Can the Bioflow be used on horses with
metal implants?
Most certainly. Many humans with metal hips and titanium
plates etc. wear Bioflow without any side effects!
What do I do when my Bioflow products have been worn out by
continual wear?
All units can be exchanged at any time under the customer
loyalty scheme. Simply send us your old products for
exchange for a brand new pair at half the original cost paid!
